Contractor registration terms

Version 2026-10-16-v6 · Effective 16 October 2026

Registration is subject to administrator approval. You agree to receive tender requests and decide independently whether to offer for each project.

You must confirm that you have received the specification and agree to carry out the work at your offered price. Default rates are based on an eight-hour day and exclude VAT. Specifications usually prescribe materials with a 20% uplift for finding and purchasing them. The default profit margin, including contribution to overheads, is 20%. You may increase or decrease your labour rates and profit contribution for each offer and lower the materials markup. Clicking Submit tender sends your invitation to treat to the client, who may make an offer to enter into the contract. A reduced price does not guarantee an award. Declining an invitation is recorded as no tender.

You authorise TXTender to prepare and issue tenders on your behalf using your confirmed offer and the applicable contract terms. If you authorise automatic submission when saving your contract rates, TXTender may generate and submit tenders for invited projects using those saved rates and applicable client terms unless you decline. Automatic submission requires sufficient imported QS pricing; otherwise a specific tender amount is needed. You must supply accurate company, VAT and insurance details and keep them current.

TXTender fee

By registering and accepting these terms, you agree to pay TX Tender a fee equal to 5% of the contract costs for contracts awarded to you through TXTender.

These registration terms are separate from the contract terms identified for each project. © TX Tender.
